Let's take two different sides here. 1- If GOD really does NOT exist, then what you, or I, believe doesn't matter because the reality would be that he doesn't exist, independent of what is believed. 2- If GOD really DOES exist, then what you, or I believe, doesn't matter because the reality would be that God exists, independent of what is believed. BELIEF does not determine reality. REALITY exists as it exists and it is up to ALL to adjust to IT, rather than the other way around. Now to answer the question, GOD EXISTS despite many in this world who do NOT want god to exist OR who believe they can deny God out of existence. |

attributions to God are not being steadily debunked BUT steadily DENIED by those predisposed to needing God NOT to 'exist' The things written in the BIBLE are not as you described at all but your desire to be so from the outset. THAT is an assumption on your part. Light existed in the beginning and the sun existed later. Not a contradiction AND a flimsy reasoning . |

It isn't a matter that people have some particular desire to prove their is no God or that there is. Light is not an assumption, neither is life existed long before Adam and Eve and other stories. Things written in the Bible are false stories passed on and what you do not need for faith. You can read Jesus words in The Sermon on the Mount or The Beatitudes and still have faith that there is a God, Spirit or higher power that guides you. Everlasting life is what has been presented in the movies, there may be one but it certainly isn't what you've heard in church or seen at the movies, it is always far to human and made up by humans who want to find an alternative to what death is.
